"One year after the U.S bombing of Cambodia from Thai bases was ended by order of congress, Thailand continues to play a critical role in supporting the Lon Nol government". Wrote Norman Peagam for New Asia News. About 14,000 tons of U.S supplies, including weapon, food, medicine and other equipment are sent from Thailand to Cambodia each month, a U.S military spokeman told Peagam.
