Phnom Penh:President Lon Nol this week said publicly that an Indochina ceasefire was imminent. Perhaps that was the impression he gathered from General Alexander Haig, who follow in the footsteps of this chief, Dr Henry Kissinger, and paid a visit to the Cambodian leader last week. Perhaps Lon Nol badly needs peace. The fact is that Lon Nol's Cambodia has been getting deeper and deeper into a quagmire of its own making.
