Feb 29, 1972: in Jan and Feb 1972, many Cambodian personalities and inteletuals left the enemy controlled areas for the liberated zone, among them princes Norodom Readvivong and Sisowath Doussad, Son and son-in-law of Samdech Norodom Sihanouk, prince Norodom Phurissara, a former foreign minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, professor Kheang Khaon former dean of the methematics and physic faculty of the Kampong Cham polytechnic pollege, Mr. Phung Peng Cheng, secretary general of the supreme royal council former member of the government of the Kingdom of Cambodia, Mme Pong Peng Cheng, member of the National Assembly, former minister of health, labour and welfare, Mr. Srei Daung a civil engineer, Mr. Khlauk Vantha, vice-director of the Sihanoukville branch of the Naional Bank.
