Summary / Abstract :

Houk Nan escaped communist Cambodia just achead of a Khmer Rouge death squad in 1976 leaving his wife and four children behind. More than two years latter he miraculously found three of his children again in Thailand, but they were immediately hauled off to a separete camp for illegal aliens 120 miles away where he cannot visit them. Refugee officials said a refugee classification system has split up dozens of close families and perhape 3,000 relatives of one sort another.
