Phnom Penh, Cambodia, March 17-A Cambodia air force T-28 fighter plane today bombed the presidential palace in an apparent attempt to assinate president Lon Nol. The president was not hurt in the attack. Twenty persons were killed an at least 35 were wounded. The 59 year-old President, who was holding a cabinet meeting at the time of the bombing, went on national radio later to declare a state of emergency and suspend civil liberties.
