President Lon Nol is not a happy man. he can arrest Cambodia's astrologers (and he jailed 55 of then at the start of the week for prophesying that he will be overthrown within a month) but he cannot stop the stars in their tracks. And he a profoundly superstition man. The continued American bombing raids in support of Marchal Lon Nol's troops over the past month have helped to the communist, who have aimed to isolate Phnom Penh by attacking its supply routes.
