On October 17, 1973, the plenary meeting of the U.N. General Assembly adopted by a majority vote a resolution to include in the agenda of the current session the item "Restoration of the Lawful Roghts of the Royal Government of National Union of Cambodia in the United Nations." This is a victiory for the Cambodian people in the struggle to restore their legitimate rights in the United Nations.
