Summary / Abstract :
|
The Cambodians called local and national press into the auditorium of the Philadelphia Central YMCA, where they are being temporarily quartered, to expose the treatment they have been given by the U.S. government. All 114, including men, women and children, were present in the auditorium to voice their demands. The walls were draped with colorful banners, proclaiming, "Long live the great victory of the people's national liberation forces of Kampuchea" and other slogans on both English and Cambodia.
