Summary / Abstract :
|
The U.S. has inspired a propaganda campaign attempting to discredit Democratic Cambodia-write the apparent aim of trying to sabotage the country's economy. The anti-Cambodian propaganda reached a crescendo. Just as large numbers of Cambodians, many having technical or professional skills were preparing to return home from abroad. The campaign also coincide with the largest rice harvest in Cambodian's history, which believes officially inspired U.S. reports about starvation in the country under the new revolutionary government.
