Summary / Abstract :
|
Sweden's Ambassdor in Peking, Kaj Boerk returned on Friday from a 15-day fact-finding tour to the new Khmer Republic. He believes he is the first westerner invited to the country since the pro-communist take over in April last years. Cambodia was a country of total revolution, "more radical and more far-reaching than either Chinese or the Russian revolutions, he said in an interview. "I do not doubt that there has been and still is considerable suffering among the people."
