So the eight representatives are back from Cambodia and South Vietnam, offering advice. Moved perhaps by what they had seen there, a majority cameback in favour of doing something for Cambodia, if not quite what the administration asks. Representative Paul McCloskey, a noted opponent of the Indochina war in the past, advised representative Otto Passman of the relevent appropriations subcommittee, to approve 8,117 m in military aid for Cambodia and $75 m for food.
