The present clientele can hardly be what they had in mind when they started to build Phnom Penh's Cambodia Hotel. A nearly completed luxury hostelry right on the banks of Mekong River. The Cambodiana, with its Buddhist temple style red roofs and broad sweeping staircase would certainly have become one of the east's great watering holes.
