Cambodian Prime Minister Pol Pot has expressed the hope that amicable relations with Thailand will develop favourably. In a message to nearly elected Thai Premier M.R. Seni pramoj, Pol Pot said: "I wish you success in fulfilling the tasks of your high office and wish too that our new relations of friend ship, after such a long time, will develop in the interest of our two countries."
