Paris: The hurried resignation of Prince Sihanouk as Cambodia's Head of State and the composition of the new Cambodian government have once again redistributed the cards in Indochina. Ieng Sary, whom Sihanouk described as "Stalinist," has clearly emerged as the strong man of the democratic government of Cambodia and Hanoi has snatched away Peking's trump card in Indochina.
