At the invitation of comrade Kim Il-Sung, general secretary of the KWP central committee and president of the DPRK, the delegation of CPK and the Government of democratic Kampuchea headed by comrade Pol Pot, secretary of the CPK central committee and premier of democratic Kampuchea, paid an official goodwill visit to the DPRK visit to the DPRK from 4th to 8th 1977. During their stay in DPRK, comrade Pol Pot and the delegation headed by him toured historic Mangyongdae, factories, co-operative forms and educational and cultural organizations around the city.
