After giving evidence of the crimes perpetrated by Cambodian troops, collected by the delegation during its visit to Tay Ninh province, Raymond Quyot, WPC vice-president, criticzed "the deleberate distortion by the western press of facts on the Vietnam-Cambodia border" "The WPC will work for peaceful solution. We hope that detente and peace continue in that part of the world, and that an agreement between Cambodia and Vietnam is reached quickly".
