Summary / Abstract :
|
Aggressor Vietnam used hundreds of Soviet tanks, hundreds of artillery pieces and serveral army divisions to break through the thin defence line of the Cambodian revolutionary army that Cambodia had left as a taken force to defend its border. The Vietnamese penetrated deep into Cambodian territory, at some points more than 30 Km and at others 15 to 20 Km inside the border. Vietnam claims that it is taking self-defence measures.
