On that day, they attacked with mortar and cannon fire areas of Ben pho, Song Trang and Long Khot in Long An province east of Ho Chi Minh city, the areas of Vinh Xuong and Bac Dai in An Giang province in the Mekong river delta, and post No. 5 of the people's armed security forces in Dac Lac province on the central Highlands.
