The Cambodian people...desire to have genuine friendly relations with all countries in the world, near and far, by abiding by the principles of equality, mutual respect for independence, sovereignty and non-interference in each other's internal affairs. Democratic Cambodia and the Cambodian people have adhered firmly to these principles in their relations with the large and small, near and distant, countries in the world.
