On 29th March 1978 Phnom Penh radio reported that on 21st March Vietnam shelled an irrigation workside located in the area west of Ampil village as far as Krabau village in Kanhchriech district of the eastern region, that on 25th March Vietnam sent aircraft to bomb Tuol Preap, and that on 26th March Vietnam sent sent aircraft to bomb [an area east of ] the sang monastery in Cambodian territory.
