It all happened after the massacre of 30 Thai innocent villagers in Bankok Khor, Ban Nong Dor and Bang Noi Pa Rai by Khmer Rouge intruders on the night of January 28 this year. Authorities and villagers alike who livenear the Cambodian border have realised that the need to form a self-defence people's force is very urgent.
