Summary / Abstract :
|
Kuala Lumpur: Two years after Khmer Rouge marched into Phnom Penh and isolated the country to experiment with a fundamentalist and bloody revolution, its leaders have come out of their shell and have started to get to know their Asian neighbours. The message that Cambodian Deputy Primier Ieng Sary conveyed to Singapore and Malaysia late month is that whatever experiment they might be try inside the country, they have no interest in promoting revolution elsewhere. Specifically, Sary said that Cambdia has nothing against ASEAN, nor did it belong to the commonly accepted grouping of communist Indochina.
