On september 28, 77, Cambodia leader Pol Pot flew to Peking today for an "official and friendly" visit which some observers here believe involves an effort by China to increase its control over the radically independent regime in Phnom Penh. Thai and Western Specialists are watching the visit first signs that China will encourage Cambodia to tone down some of its more extreme domestic and International Policies.
