De tous les développements intervenus derniérement au Cambodge, le mons surprénant n'a pas èté la visite à Phnom Penh d'une dèlégation du P.C maoiste des Etats-Unis(Le Mondè du 25 Avril)-Ce pendant, le sèiour dans la capital Cambodgienne, le 2 mai, du ministre des affaires etrangères Yougoslave M. Minitch immèdiatement après son passage à et à Bangkok, a ètè suivi avec un tout autre intérèt certains observateurs l'interprètsent comme une possible tentative de conciliation dans le conflit Vietnamo-Cambodgien.
