|
Hong Kong: since its furtive re-entry into the international market in 1976, Cambodia's foreign trade has shown dramatic growth. In 1977 the country's imports from Hong Kong, Singapore and Japan-the only know non-socialist partners-jumped to US$ 19 million, 77.4% above the value of its imports in 1976. Athough Cambodia's experts, too, have risen, they cover only 3.6% of the imports, the rest being paid for by Chinese aid.
