Summary / Abstract :

Cambodian refugees are being used as 'human mine detectors and connon fodder' by Thai security forces operating along the border with Cambodia. A Thai official has confirmed to me reports by foreign refugee workers that scores of Cambodian refugees, usually young men without family, have been taken against their will from the reception centry where new arrivals are held.
