On the day the Pol Pot-Ieng Sary troops occupied Phnom Penh city I was expelled from the pagoda at 9 AM, April 17, by a deceptive premise that the absence was to last only 4 to 5 days so as to anable occupation authorites to restore law and order after that I would be allowed to return.
