In Asia, the victory of the revolution in Afganistan, the overthrown of the bloody Pol Pot clique in Kampuchea and the establishment of a non-aligned and independent people's republic, goes hand in hand with the victories of the people of Laos and the glorious saga of the one thousand times heroic people of Vietnam who have unflinchingly faced the worst attacks unleashed by the forces of feudalism colonialism and imperialism. Vietnam, which could now be dedicating itself to the construction of a free, united, independent and prosperous homeland, as the unforgettable Ho Chi Minh would have wanted, is again forced to take up arms, this time to struggle against the invasion by the shameless chauvinist clique of the new Chinese mandarins.
