Recent developments in Phnom Penh have surprised many people, because they are country to what has happened in Kampuchea over the past three years.
On 29th September, when the Pol Pot-Ieng Sary clique was celebrating the 18th anniversary of the founding of the CPK, Samdech Norodom Sihanouk and Prince, Penh Nouth, two internationally know Kampuchea figures who had been under house arrest for the past three years, suddenly appeared in public countrary to theirclosed-door foreign policy, the Pol Pot-Ieng Sary clique in recent days have been busy receiving foreign visitors whom they called Kampuchea's friends. |
