Dear Kampuchean nationals abroad: From our beautiful capital city of Phnom Penh, the second national congress of the KNUFNS Central, held from 29th September to 1st October [as heard], sends to you all throughout the world its most cordial and warm greeting. As you know, over a period of more than three decades, while developing our national and people's tradition of undaunted struggle and maintaining close solidarity with the fraternal peoples of Vietnam and Laos, we have defeated the Japanese fascists, French colonialists and US imperialists and won the historic victory of 17th April 1975, bringing to an end the long feuda and colonialist rule in our land.
