Bangkok: There is strategy of disaster in Indochina, and one of the first moves seens to be feverish diplomacy in Bangkok. It was here at this time last year that successive state visits to Bangkok served as the first harbinger of the wider war. In Indochina as Vietnamese Premier Pham Van Dong and Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping attempted to secure at last the neutrality of this flanking state. And now again the pace of state craff has escalated sharply in the face of another all-out Vietnamese offensive against the Khmer Rouge in Kampuchea which most of those concerned accept as all but unavoidable.
