Les pays membres des Nations Unies se sont engagés à venir en aide au Cambodge à l'issue d'une réunion consacrée lundi à se problème à New York. Le secrétaire général de l'O.N.U, Kurt Weldhiem, qui estimait à 250 millions de dollars l'aide nécessaire au sauvetage du Kampuchea, a estimé comme "très bon" le résultat des contributions obtenues qui s'élèvent à 210 millions de dollars, tant en argent qu'en services divers.
