|
On October 23, 100 fully armed Vietnamese infantrymen were driven back by Thai frontier troops when they intruded into a Thai village in Aranya Parathet District. The following day, another armed clash flared up between Vietnamese and Thai Prime Minister Kriangsak Chomanan to cancel his planed visit to Indonesia and the Philippines and, on October 25, he abruptly flew back to Bangkok from Kuala Lumpur, capital of Malaysia.
