Summary / Abstract :

With his first set of crayons, 10 year-old Chea Sok San drew scenes of violent death. Only killers and victims had a place in his world. Another child, Phal Lon, shared Chea's tortured vision of their Cambodia homeland. She sketeched mothers croched near starving babies, villagers harnessed to plows like animals, axes flashing into the bodies of kneeling peasants. «I was absolutely horrified» said Barbara Melunsky.
