Sophuong Bopha confessed that Ven Sam-ol joined the CIA through the indoctrination of Phet Bun Lim. In June 1975, Sam-ol had the link with Phet Bun Lim's network at power plant 2. After Angkar purged his superiors, Sam-ol conspired with Um Lun, Ko Lorn and Chrouk Neou.
ឈ្មោះ សូភួង បូផា បានឆ្លើយថា ឈ្មោះ វែន សំអុល ចូលសេអ៊ីអាតាមការណែនាំពីឈ្មោះ ភេទ ប៊ុនលឹម។ ខែ៦-១៩៧៥ សំអុល បានភ្ជាប់ខ្សែជាមួយភេទ ប៊ុនលឹមវិញ នៅអគ្គិសនីទី២។ បន្ទាប់ពីអង្គការដកមេៗចេញ សំអុលចូលរួម ធ្វើសកម្មភាពជាមួយ អ៊ុម លន់, គោ លន និង ជ្រូក នៅ។
