Peking - China said yesterday it welcomed the recent statement by Former Kampuchean Head of State Prince Norodom Sihanouk that he was prepared to head a united front against the Vietnamese in Kampuchea. A Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said: "Recently Prince Sihanouk expressed his willingness to unite with Democratic Kampuchea and other patriotic forces to resist Vietnamese aggression. We maintain that this merits welcome.
ក្រុងប៉េកាំង-ប្រទេសចិនបាននិយាយកាលពីម្សិលមិញថា យើងសូមស្វាគមន៍ សេចកី្ដថ្លែងការណ៍ថ្មីមួយដោយអតីតមេដឹកនាំរដ្ឋកម្ពុជា សមេ្ដច សីហនុ និយាយថា លោកបានរៀបចំរណសិរ្សមួយប្រឆាំងនឹងវៀតណាមនៅប្រទេស កម្ពុជា។ អ្នកនាំពាក្យក្រសួងការបរទេសចិន បាននិយាយថាឪថ្មីៗនេះសមេ្ដច សីហនុ បានបង្ហាញនូវឆន្ទៈរបស់គាត់ក្នុងការរួបរួមជាមួយប្រជាធិបតេយ្យនិងអ្នក សេ្នហាជាតិដ៏ទៃទៀត ដើម្បីទប់ទល់នឹងការឈ្លានពានរបស់វៀតណាម។
