United Nations, N.Y. - Ieng Sary has said that what he calls "some big mistakes" by the regime of Pol Pot, which he served as Foreign Minister, caused 20,000 to 30,000 deaths in Cambodia. His total, offered in an interview here Thursday, is less than 1 percent of the conventional estimate. During the former rule Pol Pot's Khmer Rouge, from 1975 through 1978.
