The sight of Sihanouk talking to the press in Singapore, flanked by Son Sann and Khieu Samphan, yesterday was in itself a major boost. With Sihanouk announcing that he was in Agreement with the Khmer Rouge to make Son Sann the first Prime Minister of the proposed coalition Government and that his own role would be decided later on, the scene was set for more discussions.
