On the fighting inside Kampuchea at present, Lt-Gen Sonn Khattaphoan said: [recording ] from mid-February to mid - March, fighting continued inside Kampuchea. The fighting was mostly initiated by the Khieu Samphan side, which launched surprise attacks against the positions and logistic bases of the Heng Samrin - Vietnamese side.
