The five Foreign Ministers of the Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN). Have decided to back a proposal by Singapore to end the protracted Kampuchean crisis. A statement issued after the meeting in the Thai seaside resort of pattaya said Asean itself would not provide arms to Kampuchean resistance groups fighting 200,000 Vietnamese troops in their Country.
រដ្ឋមន្ដ្រីការបរទេសទាំង៥ នៃសហគមន៍អាស៊ាន បានសមេ្រចគាំទ្រសំណើរបស់ប្រទេសសិង្ហបុរី ដើម្ឃីបព្ចាាប់នូវវិបត្ដិកម្ពុជា ដែលបានអូសបន្លាយយូមកហើយ។ របាយការណ៍បានចេញបន្ទាប់ពីកិច្ចប្រជុំនៅសណ្ឋាគារ ផាតាយា (ប្រទេសថៃ) បាននិយាយថាខ្លួននឹងមិនចពោ្ចញអាវុធឱ្យក្រុមចលានតស៊ូកម្ពុជា ដែលកំពុងប្រយុទ្ធជាមួយកងទ័ពវៀតណាមជាង២០ម៉ឺននាក់ក្នុងប្រទេសកម្ពុជា។
