There has been a change for the better in the attitude of the Loatian Government toward the United States, diplomatic sources said Wednesday. U.S officials could not say where the change will lead, if it leads anywhere, but said that if the Communist Government of Laos wants to improve relations, not withstanding the 50,000 Vietnamese troops in the country, it will meet with a favorable response from Washington.
