Although Senior State Department Officials do not see any general change in Hanoi's attitude following the recent fifth congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, they are comvinced that in the face of diplomatic isolation, economic deprivation and military pressure Vietnam will eventually modify ist stand on Cambodia.
