Summary / Abstract :
|
The deep anti-tank ditch that the Thais have dug along their side of the border with Kampuchea has steep walls like a Bronze Age hill fort. At the top, Thai troops are building new defensive positions. Earlier this month the Vietnamese destroyed the Khmer settlement of Nong Chan five miles South apparently in retaliation for attacks lauched from there against their bases.
