Summary / Abstract :

Some people think the Kampuchean issue has no direct bearing on the Soviet Union and therefore should not be discussed at the second round of sino-Soviet consultations currently being held in Moscow. The Soviet backing for the Vietnamese invasion and occupation of Kampuchea is regarded by China as one of the obstacles to the normalization of relations between China and the Soviet Union. under standably, China hopes that this will be moved with other obstacles.
