The first work assigned to some of the soldiers just back from Cambodia seems to be recruitment. According to Ho Chi Minh City reports, newly demobilised troops have been making the rounds of youth meetings in the city, talking about life and combat in the regular army. The second phase of this year's recruitment drive started in August.
