Summary / Abstract :

This is the sixth time in a quarter of a century that I have the honor to mount this rostrum to defend before the eminent representatives of member states the interests of country and its people. Todays as on the last occasion I addressed the United Nations Security Council in 1979, following the occupation of Kampuchea by the armed forces of the Sovialist Republic of Vietnam, it is the very existence of my country as a free and soveriengty state of which I seek to be the spokesman before this honorable Assembly.
