The military prospects of the Democratic Kampuchea coalition Government have risen as its diplomatic fortunes have slipped. Forces of the Khmer People's National Liberation Front (KPNLF) made a tactical withdrawal from an important Vietnamese fire base in Western Cambodia it became clear that these Non-Communist Gerrillas of Mr. Son Sann were a more formidable military force that they had been given credit for.
