Following is an article written by Japanese writer and photographer Naoki Mabuchi on his 10 weeks tour in the liberated area of Democratic Kampuchea. The article initially appeared in a Thai Newspaper in English language, The Bangkok Post, on 26 June 1983 and was reproduced by the FBIS ( foreign broadcast information service) on 28 June 1983.
