From 2 to 5 April 1983, the National Army of Democratic Kampuchea broke down the second mopping-up operation carried out by 4 Vietnamese regiments: regiments number 21, 29, 49 and 95 of the division 307, backed by 12 tanks at the foot of Preah Vihear mountain.
