Former Cambodian Head of State Prince Norodom Sihanouk was scheduled to return to his beloved Cambodia this week along a path paved with historic irony and fraught with future uncertainties. Now president of the newly formed anti-Vietnamese coalition, the prince was due to cross the Thai border two into North-Western Cambodia for a moving reunion with his people an event that was to precede a scheduled meeting with partners Son Sann and Khieu Samphan to declare formally an alliance which carries for more political than military significance.
